Seattle Washington – July 10, 2023 – Concord Technologies, a leading provider of cloud-based data delivery solutions for healthcare and other major industries, has become a member of DirectTrust™.
DirectTrust is a non-profit healthcare industry alliance initially created to support secure, identity-verified electronic exchanges of protected health information (PHI) between provider organizations, as well as between providers and patients, for the purpose of improving care efficiency and coordination, transitions of care, patient satisfaction and reducing healthcare costs. DirectTrust also includes standards-development activities, more than 20 accreditation programs, and other services related to healthcare and identity that further develop trust.
“The healthcare industry is closer than ever to achieving interoperability and our members play a critical role in establishing stakeholder trust as protected health information flows across the data exchange highway,” said Scott Stuewe, President and CEO of DirectTrust. “We’re thrilled Concord Technologies is joining our alliance of healthcare leaders to advance policy, best practices, and other activities that promote trust in healthcare, including in the data exchange and identity spaces.”
“Concord has more than 20 years of experience helping our healthcare clients safely, securely and reliably send and receive information,” says William Cavanaugh, President of Concord Technologies. “As we continue to innovate and advance how data is sent, received, integrated, and deployed into patient care and other workflows, we also make sure that our safeguards continue to protect that most valuable asset. We are pleased to join with DirectTrust, where we’ll engage and share best practices with many healthcare industry leaders.”
