This data collection is solely to transmit information between the sender of such information and the recipient. This information is not used by Concord Technologies or any party other than the sender and recipient. The data subjects in this category are the customers of Concord Technologies. If a data subject wishes to correct or obtain their information, they should contact their service provider, as Concord’s processing of their information is generally temporary.

Any information collected on our website is the sole property of Concord Technologies. We may employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable Concord Technologies to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

The information collected by Concord Technologies will be used to conduct our business, to advise customers about our products and services, and to deliver effective customer service.

Concord Technologies does not sell customer data to third parties and we do not share personally identifiable information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

To opt-out of having your information transmitted or processed by Concord, inform your service provider or insurer to use an alternate method of data transmission, such as postal mail.

If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Concord Technologies may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Concord Technologies’ accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Concord Technologies remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Concord Technologies proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.

Part III. Data Storage and Security

We restrict access to personal information about you to our employees, our affiliates’ employees or to others who need to know that information to service your account. We store all information we collect on servers that we believe are secure from unauthorized access. We use a variety of technologies to minimize the likelihood of loss, alteration or misuse of the information we collect.

Part IV. Concord Services

Concord Technologies acts as a passive conduit for our Customer’s fax communications. Concord does not monitor, edit or disclose any contents of any Customer’s fax messages unless Concord in good faith believes that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws or regulations. Concord Technologies is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Part V. EU-US Privacy Shield

Concord Technologies complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. Concord Technologies has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the policies in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. The services of the Council of Better Business Bureaus are provided at no cost to you.

Please note that if your complaint is not resolved through these channels, under limited circumstances, a binding arbitration option may be available before a Privacy Shield Panel.
