RightFax replacement for healthcare
100s of organizations have left RightFax for Concord
So what is holding you back? For most teams it is the routing nobody documented, the Epic integration, and what happens to a live fax in the middle of a cutover. We have answered all three, hundreds of times.

Cloud or on premises, RightFax is still yours to run
The servers and the after-hours calls are yours
Every dependency stays with you: servers, Windows and SQL, telephony, patches, upgrades, monitoring, integrations, and local troubleshooting. The next hardware refresh is already on someone’s roadmap.
You still run the server Cloud Connect left behind
The RightFax server remains. You moved the telephony to the cloud, and you still own the server, the Windows and SQL patching, the version upgrades, the monitoring, and the escalation if it stops responding.
You pay for the software and for someone to run it
The application and the contract remain. OpenText hosts and administers the environment, and you are funding both the license and the service that operates it, on OpenText’s renewal terms.
Nothing to run, nothing to patch, no renewal you'll dread
Concord runs as a cloud service, so there's no server left on your floor, no patch cycle on your team's calendar, and no license waiting to be renewed on OpenText's terms. Your fax numbers, integrations, and workflow rules all carry forward, and every improvement arrives automatically, with no upgrade project to plan. The only thing that doesn't make the trip is the OpenText contract.
What does another RightFax renewal actually cost you?
If you're on Cloud Connect, OpenText requires 90 days' notice to opt out of renewal. Add legal review and a migration plan on top of that and the real decision point is about six months before your renewal date, not ninety days.
On premises, the decision usually gets made for you. A server goes down, the fax queue stops, and your team is on hold with support while the backlog grows.
Whichever one applies, the environment review starts from what you already have running rather than from a proposal.
Review your RightFax environmentOpenText lost more than customers
More than a dozen people here built, supported, or sold RightFax at OpenText before they came to Concord. That is why the questions we ask about your environment are specific, and why the process is repeatable instead of improvised.
What hundreds of RightFax customer migrations have taught us
Document every dependency
We inventory fax numbers, application integrations, dialing and workflow rules, delivery destinations, APIs, MFPs, production systems, archives, and the teams that depend on each of them. This is the step that determines the schedule.
Test before cutover
Number porting, testing, and validation get coordinated around the hours those workflows actually run. Nothing goes live on a route that hasn't passed a test first.
Cut over in phases
Live traffic moves in stages, and every route and integration is validated before the next stage starts. Nobody cuts an enterprise fax environment over in a weekend.
Take RightFax off IT's watch list
Managing a fax environment needs someone who knows how your organization runs. The rest is server maintenance, and there is no reason it should still be your team’s job.

Two data centers, active-active, and the certifications to match
Retiring RightFax means your fax traffic runs on someone else’s infrastructure. That is the first thing your security and compliance teams will want to undertand, so here is how Concord’s infrastructure is built.
SureConnect is patented, and it keeps trying
When a transmission fails, SureConnect routes the document through an alternate carrier, an alternate data center, or an alternate protocol until it completes. Fewer delivery errors, and nobody has to notice one happened.
Routes and carrier performance are monitored continuously, not checked after a failure.
Two U.S. data centers both carry live traffic in synchronized document delivery, so every fax is already moving through an architecture with two full paths open to it.
Each data center is built to carry 125% of total customer volume on its own, so if one goes offline the other absorbs every fax with no delay and no degradation. That capacity is provisioned across Concord’s own data centers and Microsoft Azure.
Secure in design, secure by default, secure in deployment, with 24/7 eyes on glass, anomaly detection, and employee simulation testing behind it.

Worth doing even if replacing RightFax isn't an active project. If you're on Cloud Connect, the notice window is the part people often miss.
